Overview:

Vasman Solutions is seeking an experienced
Google Cloud Engineer
to implement a highly secure and scalable infrastructure for our cybersecurity SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in Google Cloud architecture, containerized deployments, networking, and database management, with a strong focus on security and scalability following zero-trust principles.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using Google Cloud services (GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL).
  • Configure and secure
    VPC networks
    ,
    private subnets
    ,
    firewalls
    , and
    load balancers
    for multi-zone and multi-region availability.
  • Deploy and manage
    PostgreSQL (Cloud SQL)
    with replication, backup, and private access configuration.
  • Set up and maintain
    CI/CD pipelines
    for automated deployments and updates.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using
    Cloud Monitoring
    and
    Cloud Logging
    .
  • Ensure compliance with
    security best practices
    , least privilege access, and zero-trust architecture.
  • Optimize infrastructure for
    performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
    .
  • Collaborate with the application development team to support integration and testing.
  • Document the deployment architecture, configuration, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience deploying applications on
    Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    .
  • Strong working knowledge of
    GKE (Kubernetes)
    ,
    Cloud Run
    , and
    Cloud SQL
    .
  • Experience with
    VPC design, routing, IAM, and networking configurations
    .
  • Familiarity with
    infrastructure as code
    tools (Terraform, Deployment Manager, etc.).
  • Understanding of
    containerization, Docker images
    , and
    artifact management
    .
  • Knowledge of
    identity and access controls
    ,
    service accounts
    , and
    workload identity
    .
  • Experience implementing
    security controls
    , encryption, and network isolation.
  • Familiarity with other cloud environments (
    AWS, Azure
    ) is an advantage.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
