Responsibilities

  • Architect and manage 
    AWS infrastructure
     (EKS/ECS, MongoDB, VPC, ALB/NLB, ElastiCache, etc.).
  • Define and maintain 
    Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
     using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
  • Build and optimize 
    CI/CD pipelines
     ensuring zero-downtime deployments (Blue/Green, Canary).
  • Establish 
    monitoring, logging, and observability
     with CloudWatch, ELK/Opensearch, Prometheus, Grafana, and distributed tracing.
  • Manage 
    real-time messaging and streaming platforms
     (Kafka, ).
  • Implement 
    scaling strategies
     including auto-scaling, caching layers, and multi-region failover.
  • Enforce 
    cloud security best practices
     (IAM, WAF, TLS, Secrets Manager, audit logging).
  • Support 
    disaster recovery
     and business continuity (backups, snapshots, multi-region strategies).
  • Collaborate with 
    backend, data, and mobile teams
     to optimize performance and reliability.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in 
    DevOps
    / Cloud
    Engineer
    ing
    .
  • Proven expertise in 
    AWS services
     (EKS/ECS, MongoDB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Strong skills with 
    IaC tools
     (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation).
  • Hands-on experience building 
    CI/CD pipelines
     (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins).
  • Solid knowledge of 
    monitoring & logging stacks
     (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
  • Experience with 
    real-time data pipelines
     (Kafka, , Redis).
  • Proficiency in 
    MongoDB administration, sharding, and performance tuning
    .
  • Strong understanding of 
    networking, load balancing, and cloud security
    .
  • Proficient in 
    scripting/automation
     (Python, Bash, or Go).
  • Hands-on with 
    container orchestration
     (Kubernetes, ECS Fargate).

    geospatial data systems
