As a Software Integration Engineer you will be the member of Georgia-Pacific SE&I, Integration team. You will be working as adeveloper in a Bangalore-based development team through close collaboration with global team members. The ideal candidate would have a sincere passion for helping and developing others as well as be technically proficient in the Golang, Python and AWS services.Koch Industries is a privately held global organization with over 120,000 employees around the world, with subsidiaries involved in manufacturing, trading, and investments. Koch Global Solution India (KGSI) is being developed in India to extend its IT operations, as well as act as a hub for innovation in the IT function. As KSGI rapidly scales up its operations in India, its employees will get opportunities to carve out a career path for themselves within the organization. This role will have the opportunity to join on the ground floor and will play a critical part in helping build out the Koch Global Solution (KGS) over the next several years. The Georgia-Pacific SE&I (Software Engineering & Integration) team focuses on integrating software and technology solutions within Georgia-Pacific. They work on building and managing integration capabilities to connect various systems, improving efficiency and enabling better communication across platforms.Our team is part of a global development effort, with members based across the United States, Mexico, and India. A shared commitment to continuous learning and skill development is essential for all team members in this collaborative environment
What You Will Do
- Proven experience working with REST, SOAP, and various other system integration protocols.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define integration strategies.
- Develop custom integration to enable data exchange between systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in industrial automation and integration.
- Utilize GitHub as a source code repository for version control and collaboration.
- Implement modern integration strategies to ensure seamless data flow.
- Work with streaming platforms(Kinesis, NATS, Kafka) to handle real-time data processing and integration.
- Participate in troubleshooting production issues and applying fixes.
- Flexible to provide on-call support on rotational basis
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science /Information Technology
- Should have 5-8 Yrs of IT experience
- Hands-on programming experience in GoLang or Python.
- Experience deploying API and Microservices in containerized environments using Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript and PowerShell
What Will Put You Ahead
- Hands-on experience integrating industrial protocol such as OPC-UA, MQTT, MODBUS, and other integration platforms and protocols.
- Experience with code development using Gen AI
- Solid understanding of API Gateway, networking principles, and security best practices.
- Experience in collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, design integration solutions.
