The Manager – MEPF Design will lead the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting (MEPF) design team, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable engineering solutions for projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate across disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Leadership
  • Lead and oversee MEPF design development from concept to execution.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
  • Project Management
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants to integrate MEPF systems seamlessly.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and resources for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Conduct design reviews and value engineering exercises to optimize cost and performance.
  • Technical Expertise
  • Provide guidance on HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing systems, fire protection, and sustainable design practices.
  • Evaluate new technologies and innovative solutions for energy efficiency and safety.
  • Ensure designs meet client requirements and statutory approvals.
  • Team & Stakeholder Management
  • Mentor and manage a team of engineers and draftsmen.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Quality & Compliance
  • Implement quality assurance processes for design deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: 15-20 years in MEPF design, with at least 5-7 years in a managerial role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and design software.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Familiarity with green building standards (LEED, GRIHA, IGBC).
  • Soft Skills:
  • Leadership and team management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability.

Location

  • Based in BHOPAL /DELHI
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
