Position: Senior Data Engineer- Azure

Purpose of the Position: To design and implement cloud-native data architecture solutions using Azure and Snowflake, supporting the Data Factory strategy and enabling scalable, secure, and modern data platforms.

Key Result Areas and Activities:

  • Design cloud-based data architecture using Azure and Snowflake.

  • Develop APIs and microservices aligned with Data-as-a-Service strategy.

  • Support Event Driven Architecture using Azure Event Hub and IoT Hub.

  • Lead architectural documentation and modernization initiatives.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to drive cloud adoption and integration.

Essential Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud data architecture (Azure).

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database technologies (Snowflake, Synapse, Databricks).

  • Experience in RESTful API and microservices development.

  • Hands-on with scripting (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell).

  • Familiarity with automation tools (Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible).

  • Understanding of security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SSL).

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Kafka.

  • Exposure to GCP and/or AWS.

  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.

  • Agile methodology experience.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and offshore teams.
