About the role
Looking for a performance-driven freelancer to own and scale Amazon & Flipkart ads for a growing Indian skincare brand (D2C) with presence on marketplaces and our own website. The role is ideal for someone who already manages beauty / skincare / personal care accounts and understands how to drive both efficiency (ACOS/ROAS) and brand growth.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, set up and manage PPC campaigns on Amazon (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display) and Flipkart Ads across our full product catalogue.
- Continuously optimise campaigns for ACOS, TACOS, ROAS, CTR and CVR using structured bid, keyword and placement strategies.
- Use Amazon Brand Analytics (Search Term Report, Market Basket, Item Comparison, Repeat Purchase etc.) to refine targeting, discover new keywords and inform portfolio-level strategy.
- Use Amazon PI / search performance / share-of-voice style reports to track rank, visibility and identify gaps vs competition.
- Run keyword research, negative keyword mining and campaign restructuring to scale profitable search terms while cutting waste.
- Coordinate with the internal team on launches, deals, coupons and pricing so campaigns are aligned with growth and margin goals.
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards (weekly and monthly) with clear insights, action points, and experiments/results.
- Propose and test new ideas: campaign types, audience strategies, creatives, funnels (brand campaigns, cross-sell, re-marketing, defense, conquesting etc.).
Required skills & experience
- 2–4+ years hands-on experience managing PPC on Amazon & Flipkart Ads .
- Proven experience running campaigns for skincare / beauty / personal care brands (India-focused preferred) with demonstrable impact on sales and ACOS/TACOS.
- Strong practical knowledge of:
- Amazon Advertising Console and Amazon Brand Analytics
- Amazon PI / share-of-voice / search performance style reports and how to turn them into actions
- Structuring campaigns by match type, objective and lifecycle (launch, scale, defend, liquidate).
- Solid analytical skills in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, basic formulas) and comfort working with large search term and performance reports.
- Ability to think in terms of contribution margin: ad spend vs net profit, not just ACOS.
- Comfortable working independently, proposing your own hypotheses, tests and optimisations and communicating them clearly.
Nice-to-have
- Prior experience with D2C Indian skincare or beauty brands (Amazon India, Flipkart, Nykaa etc.).
- Understanding of listing optimisation basics (titles, bullets, images, A+), so ad strategy and listing strategy are aligned.
- Familiarity with third-party tools (Helium 10, DataHawk, etc.) while being able to work directly from native reports.
