We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in both civil construction and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, handling contracts, and ensuring value for money while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for both civil and interior works.
  • Analyze project drawings, specifications, and requirements to forecast costs and timelines.
  • Monitor ongoing projects to ensure costs are within budget and identify potential variations early.
  • Evaluate tenders, negotiate with vendors/subcontractors, and issue work orders.
  • Track work progress on-site and certify contractor/vendor bills.
  • Prepare and review cost reports, cash flow statements, and project valuations.
  • Liaise with site engineers, architects, project managers, and clients.
  • Conduct site measurements and inspections to ensure accuracy in billing and quality of work.
  • Handle contract administration, change orders, and final account settlements.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, statutory regulations, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in quantity surveying for both civil and interior projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques, interior finishes, and market rates.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and QS software.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Prior experience working with both residential and commercial projects.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes, safety standards, and local construction regulations.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive approach to cost control and budgeting.
