The MIS Executive is responsible for managing, maintaining, and analyzing data to support business operations and decision-making. The role involves preparing reports, ensuring data accuracy, automating reporting systems, and supporting various departments with data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:1. Data Management and Reporting

  • Collect, compile, and analyze data from multiple sources (sales, finance, operations, HR, etc.).
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
  • Develop dashboards and automate reporting processes using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting systems.

2. System Maintenance and Support

  • Manage and update the company's MIS database systems.
  • Coordinate with IT teams for troubleshooting and system enhancements.
  • Ensure secure and efficient storage of data.

3. Business Analysis

  • Provide data insights and analysis to management for strategic decisions.
  • Identify trends, variances, and performance gaps through data analysis.
  • Support management in forecasting, budgeting, and performance reviews.

4. Coordination and Communication

  • Collaborate with different departments to gather data and understand reporting requirements.
  • Present reports and dashboards to management in an understandable format.
  • Train and support staff in using MIS tools and reports.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and/or Google Sheets
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus
  • Good understanding of database management and reporting systems
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple reports and deadlines

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in MIS, data analysis, or reporting roles
  • Experience in a similar industry (manufacturing, retail, finance, logistics, etc.) is advantageous
