SEO Specialist / Senior SEO Analyst

Location: Chennai (On-site, Full-Time)

Industry: Information Technology & Digital Marketing

Experience: 5 years and above

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist with 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing and executing successful SEO strategies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, technical SEO, keyword research, link building, and analytics with a proven track record of improving organic visibility and driving growth for websites in the IT domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective on-page and off-page SEO strategies aligned with business goals.

• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content optimization.

• Perform technical SEO audits and recommend actionable improvements for site performance and ranking.

• Manage and analyse Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other SEO tools to track performance and ROI.

• Optimize website structure, meta tags, schema markup, and internal linking.

• Build and maintain high-quality backlinks through ethical SEO practices.

• Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed.

• Stay updated with the latest trends, algorithms, and SEO tools.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of proven experience in SEO (preferably within IT / Digital Marketing companies).

• Expertise in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.

• Strong understanding of technical SEO, content strategy, and link-building techniques.

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics, website architecture, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience working with international clients, especially UK-based clients.

Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

• SEO/Google certifications are a plus.
