About The Opportunity
We are hiring a hands-on Java Backend Developer to join an engineering team delivering resilient, high-throughput backend services. You will design, build and operate Spring Boot microservices, integrate with databases and messaging layers, and help automate CI/CD and observability for mission-critical applications.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot following microservices patterns and RESTful API standards.
  • Build and maintain data access layers using Hibernate/JPA and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.
  • Integrate services with messaging systems and third-party APIs; implement reliable retry, idempotency and error-handling strategies.
  • Containerize applications with Docker and collaborate on deployment automation and environment configuration for on‑prem/cloud targets.
  • Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and drive improvements in code quality, observability and incident response.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, DevOps) to deliver features on schedule and mentor junior engineers on backend best practices.

  • Proven experience building backend applications with Java and Spring Boot in production environments.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems patterns and database design.
  • On-site work required in India; open to candidates who can join at the designated location.
