Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager with strong domain knowledge in Payroll and hands-on experience in VB6, Oracle, and Crystal Reports. The ideal candidate will have 7-15 years of experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting payroll applications. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, payroll product expertise, and team coordination skills to manage enhancements, integrations, and support functions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of payroll applications and modules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement payroll features.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
  • Maintain and enhance legacy applications built on VB6, Oracle PL/SQL, and Crystal Reports.
  • Ensure payroll systems are compliant with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Manage bug tracking, performance tuning, and user support for payroll products.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, workflows, and deployment guides.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7-15 years of experience in software development with a focus on payroll or HR systems.
  • Strong expertise in Visual Basic 6.0 (VB6).
  • Solid hands-on experience in Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.
  • Proficient in Crystal Reports development and customization.
  • Good understanding of payroll processing, statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS), and payroll workflows.
  • Experience working in product-based or ERP payroll solutions preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical initiatives.

Note-Must have worked in payroll products.
