Position Summary

The CCTV Operator is responsible for continuously monitoring employee activities through CCTV systems to ensure compliance with company policies, workplace discipline, and safety standards. The operator must immediately report any unusual behavior, misconduct, or violations directly to the HR department in real time.

Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Observation & Immediate Reporting

· Monitor employees' activities on CCTV to ensure they are following company rules, safety procedures, and workplace guidelines.

· Immediately notify their respective departmental managers and then report to HR regarding any concerning behavior, misconduct, unsafe actions, policy violations, or attendance-related issues.

· Provide real-time updates to Manager as well as HR when urgent intervention is required.

· Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.

Continuous Surveillance & Monitoring

· Observe all critical areas and ensure no unsafe or unauthorized activities occur.

· Identify concerns related to productivity, discipline, or work ethics and promptly escalate them to HR.

Incident Recording & Documentation

· Log all observations, incidents, and reports accurately.

· Save and share relevant footage with HR for further investigation.

· Support HR during inquiry or disciplinary procedures by providing evidence-based reports.

· Maintain a daily report of all monitoring activities and share the report with HR on a regular basis.

System Operation & Maintenance

· Operate CCTV systems efficiently and ensure all cameras are functioning.

· Report technical issues to the appropriate department.

· Organize and maintain CCTV footage based on HR guidelines.

Qualifications and SkillsEducation & Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Experience in CCTV monitoring, security, or an administrative role is an advantage.

Technical Skills

· Familiarity with CCTV systems and software.

· Basic computer and reporting skills.

Behavioral Competencies

· Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to respond quickly and communicate immediately with HR.

· High integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

· Ability to remain objective and neutral.

Work Conditions

· Shift-based and screen-intensive work.
