Job Description:
We are looking for a Junior Accountant who has basic accounting knowledge and can handle day-to-day financial transactions. The candidate should be familiar with cheque preparation, basic bookkeeping, and accounting entries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue cheques for vendor and employee payments.
- Maintain records of daily financial transactions.
- Assist in data entry, voucher preparation, and bank reconciliation.
- Support senior accountant in maintaining books of accounts.
- Handle petty cash, invoices, and expense tracking.
- Coordinate with banks for deposits, withdrawals, and cheque clearance.
- File and organize accounting documents properly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- 6 months to 1 year of accounting experience (freshers with good knowledge may also apply).
- Knowledge of Tally / MS Excel / MS Office.
- Should know how to prepare and fill cheques properly.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and GST (preferred).
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
