Role & responsibilities

  • Financial Risk Product Expertise:

    Develop and maintain deep knowledge of financial risk products, including Fixed Income securities and credit underwriting processes, to evaluate and manage associated risks.
  • Operational Risk Frameworks:

    Implement and monitor operational risk frameworks such as Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), Outsourcing Management, Fraud Risk frameworks, and conduct Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) across the business units.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation:

    Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks by collaborating with various internal teams and third-party vendors.
  • Risk Dashboard Automation:

    Lead and support the automation of risk reporting dashboards using data analytics and visualization tools to provide real-time insights and enhance risk monitoring capabilities.
  • Treasury System Implementation:

    Participate in the implementation and integration of treasury management systems, ensuring alignment with risk policies and operational workflows.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:

    Analyze risk data from various sources and generate comprehensive reports for senior management and regulatory compliance.
  • Regulatory Compliance:

    Ensure all risk management activities comply with relevant regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    Work closely with treasury, credit, compliance, operations, and IT teams to ensure robust risk management and seamless system implementations.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    Proactively identify gaps in existing risk frameworks and recommend improvements to strengthen controls and operational efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in financial risk management, operational risk, or treasury functions.
  • Strong understanding of financial risk products, especially Fixed Income and credit underwriting.
  • Proficiency in operational risk frameworks including TPRM, Outsourcing Management, Fraud Risk frameworks, and RCSA.
  • Experience with risk dashboard automation using tools like Excel (advanced), SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience with treasury system implementations or related IT projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting financial institutions and treasury operations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
