Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Senior Hardware Engineer (Vision & Wearables). The selected candidate will work on hardware development for vision analytics and wearable solutions, execute detailed circuit design and testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate high-performance hardware systems. Responsibilities include prototyping, troubleshooting, integration with software modules, and ensuring compliance with technical standards for product scalability. The role provides an opportunity to work at the intersection of research and practical hardware solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or
    Masters (Preferred)
    in relevant field of engineering with
    4+ years
    hands-on embedded hardware/systems experience with at least one shipped product.
  • Hands-on expertise in Hardware Development and Electronics Hardware Design
  • Strong
    PCB
    experience: multilayer high-speed design, power delivery, rigid-flex for wearables, SI/PI basics.
  • Proficiency in Circuit Design and its applications in computer systems
  • Strong knowledge of Computer Hardware and troubleshooting techniques
  • Solid understanding of system-level integration and technical standards
  • Prior experience in developing hardware for vision systems or wearable devices is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
  • Proven camera & sensor integration for real-time vision (MIPI CSI-2/DVP, sensor control over I²C, synchronization, basic ISP tuning/config).
  • Lab skills: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power profiling; methodical test planning and fault isolation.
