Job Summary:

  • We are hiring for a Full Stack Developer specialising in the MERN stack (MongoDB, , React, and ) responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that offer seamless user experiences and efficient server-side logic. This role requires expertise across both front-end and back-end technologies, as well as an understanding of databases, API development, and deployment best practices. The Full Stack Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver scalable and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive user interfaces using React (or React-based frameworks).
  • Build robust backend services and RESTful APIs using and Express.
  • Design and maintain data models and queries in MongoDB.
  • Integrate frontend with backend services, ensuring smooth data flow and error handling.
  • Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
  • Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and maintain code quality.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, analyze logs, and deploy fixes.
  • Collaborate closely with product, QA, and design teams in an Agile environment.
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions; propose improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience working with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, ).
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern React (hooks, functional components).
  • Experience building RESTful APIs with and Express.
  • Hands-on experience with MongoDB (schema design, indexing, aggregation).
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • State management experience (Redux, Context API, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Git and branching workflows (feature branches, pull requests).
  • Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, React Testing Library) is a plus.
  • Experience deploying applications (Docker, CI/CD pipelines, basic AWS/GCP knowledge) is a plus.
  • Good problem-solving skills, debugging ability, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work onsite with the team.
