The Opportunity

As our AI/ML Engineering Intern, you won't just be running scripts, you'll be at the heart of innovation. We are seeking a highly motivated intern to help us build and refine the core models for a new, large-scale computer vision platform. This is a unique opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to solve complex, real-world computer vision challenges and see your work have a tangible impact.

What You'll Do

  • Design, Build & Train:
    Take ownership of creating and refining sophisticated computer vision models
  • Own the End-to-End ML Lifecycle:
    Work on everything from data ingestion to preprocessing to rigorous model evaluation and performance iteration.
  • Innovate with Cutting-Edge Research:
    Experiment with state-of-the-art algorithms and novel model architectures to push the boundaries of what's possible.
  • Deploy & Scale with the Best:
    Collaborate closely with senior engineers to deploy your models into our scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Drive Technical Direction:
    Research, test, and present findings on new techniques that will help guide our team's strategy and roadmap.

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree with exposure in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field with a strong portfolio of technical projects.
  • You have a solid foundation in
    Computer Vision
    and
    Machine Learning
    concepts.
  • Proficient in
    Python
    with hands-on experience in a major deep learning framework
  • Grasp of cloud computing, particularly
    AWS
  • Driven by an insatiable curiosity and a genuine passion for solving complex problems with AI.

Bonus Points

  • A portfolio of personal or academic computer vision projects you can share.
  • Hands-on experience with libraries like
    OpenCV
    ,
    MediaPipe
    , or Dlib.
  • Knowledge of model optimization techniques (e.g., quantization, pruning) for efficient deployment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
