Position Overview:

As a Senior Guest Service Associate (Sr. GSA) in the Food & Beverage Service Department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests, ensuring high standards of service, and assisting in the smooth day-to-day operations of the restaurant, banquet, or bar outlets. You will also act as a mentor to junior team members and uphold the brand and service values of Gokulam Grand Trivandrum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient F&B service to guests in accordance with hotel standards.
• Welcome guests, present menus, take orders, and serve food and beverages accurately and professionally.
• Ensure table settings and service areas are properly maintained and always clean.
• Suggestively sell food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and maximize revenue.
• Assist in training and guiding junior GSAs or trainees.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth order execution.
• Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Participate in daily briefings and ensure awareness of menu changes, promotions, and special events.
• Support banquet operations and in-room dining service as per operational requirements.
• Assist in inventory management, billing, and POS handling when required.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or F&B Service.
• Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in F&B service, preferably in a 4/5-star hotel.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Guest-focused with a pleasant personality and positive attitude.
• Team player with leadership potential.
• Basic knowledge of wines, spirits, and menu pairing is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems and billing procedures.

Work Conditions:

• Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Physically fit to stand for extended periods and carry service trays.

Pay: ₹204, ₹228,000.00 per year
