Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled QE Automation Engineer to join our quality engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and execute automated test frameworks and test cases to ensure the reliability, performance, and stability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar.
  • Develop and enhance test automation frameworks for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA to understand features and technical implementation.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Perform root cause analysis of test failures and log detailed defects in the tracking system (e.g., JIRA).
  • Ensure high test coverage through well-structured automated and manual tests.
  • Participate in test planning, test case reviews, and design reviews.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Stay current with new testing tools, strategies, and industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
  • Knowledge of containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)
  • ISTQB or similar QA/testing certification
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
