The Role: Senior Python AI Engineer

You'll join the technical team and work closely with the 
CTO (expert in AI & data)
 on high-impact data engineering topics.

You may also need to 
mentor and manage one junior data engineer
, ensuring delivery, code quality, and technical growth.

You will play a key role in:

  • Improving our core 
    data pipelines
     and 
    LLM-based AI workflows
  • Scaling data systems
  • Ensuring data integrity and performance across all our services

Your Responsibilities:

Data Collection

  • Design and build robust, scalable data pipelines
  • Benchmark and integrate third-party APIs and data sources
  • Improve and maintain web scraping systems
  • Expand our social media scraping stack (LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.)

Data Processing

  • Develop efficient data cleaning and transformation pipelines
  • Optimize enrichment logic in Python (Pandas, async, vector ops)
  • Integrate data workflows into our Django backend

Data Quality

  • Create benchmark to measure data quality
  • Investigate why some sources or articles don't perform well
  • Detect anomalies and improve the feedback loop
  • Monitor data quality in production

Team & Leadership

  • Mentor and guide one junior data engineer
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
  • Coordinate with the CTO to define priorities and tech roadmap
  • Contribute to technical decisions on architecture and tooling

Your Hard Skills:

  • Strong in Python
  • Strong in Pandas
  • Very good at making LLMs work at scale
  • prompt engineering
  • AI APIs (OpenAI, HuggingFace, Langchain)
  • Strong in web scraping at scale (e.g., lxml, Scrapy ,
  • Knowledge in social media scraping (X, linkedin, Whatsapp, Telegram) and bot creation at scale
  • Writing tests (unit & functional)
  • Strong in writing code that work at scale
  • code parallelization, scalar processing in pandas, …
  • Strong in data quality
  • analyzing and comparing performances of various data function through benchmark
  • Integration of any data API
  • Coding best practices (documentation, testing, naming conventions, code architecture…)
  • Git, CI/CD

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with data monitoring tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Superset)
  • Understanding of NLP / information retrieval concepts
  • Familiarity with Django backend architecture
