Overview The SAP PP (Production Planning) and QM (Quality Management) Specialist plays a crucial role in aligning production and quality processes with organizational goals. This position entails deep expertise in SAP's PP and QM modules, focusing on streamlining manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with quality standards. The specialist collaborates with multiple departments, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to implement solutions that improve efficiency and meet production demands. An effective SAP PP and QM Specialist enables data-driven decision-making by providing insights through analytical reports, system enhancements, and best practices. This role is vital for enhancing productivity, minimizing waste, and ensuring product quality, ultimately supporting the organization's commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and maintain SAP PP and QM modules to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for enhancements and changes.
  • Support the full implementation cycle of SAP PP and QM solutions.
  • Analyze current production and quality processes, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate training sessions for end-users to optimize utilization of SAP PP and QM functionalities.
  • Monitor and evaluate production performance metrics to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain relevant documentation, including process flows, functional specifications, and user guides.
  • Conduct regular system audits and troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with IT teams.
  • Implement strategies for inventory management and material requirements planning.
  • Review and enhance quality processes to comply with industry regulations and quality assurance standards.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Manage change requests and facilitate training for new software releases.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of production strategies.
  • Provide reporting and analytics on production and quality issues, influencing decision-making.
  • Support integration of SAP PP and QM with other SAP modules and systems.
  • Stay updated on SAP trends and enhancements to inform strategic planning.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with SAP PP and QM modules.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and control processes.
  • Proven experience with quality management systems and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP configuration and customization.
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and systems.
  • Experience in leading SAP implementation projects.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving techniques.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing operations and industry best practices.
  • Experience in training and supporting users on SAP systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Relevant SAP certifications in PP and QM preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning and execution.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and system updates.
