Job Title: Senior Tax & Audit Executive

Experience Required: 5 to 10 years

Location: Mumbai

We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax & Audit Executive to oversee and manage all aspects of direct and indirect taxation, audit coordination, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax planning, handling audits independently, and ensuring timely filing and compliance under Indian tax laws.

Responsibilities:

Handle GST compliance including registrations, return filings (GSTR-1, 3B, 9), reconciliations, and audits.

Manage TDS calculations, return filings, and ensure timely payments and Form 16/16A issuance.

Prepare and review income tax returns for the company and ensure proper tax provisioning and planning.

· Determining the accuracy and property of financial transactions;

· Examining, evaluating and reporting on the adequacy of internal control as a contribution to proper, economic and effective use of resources;

· Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with the clients

Lead and coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits

Prepare audit schedules, finalize books of accounts, and ensure compliance with Ind AS or applicable accounting standards.

Identify audit observations and ensure timely resolution and compliance.

Qualifications:

Well versed in Tally ERP 9

· Knowledge of compliance requirements for Tax Audit and Statutory Audit

· Knowledge of provisions relating to TDS, TCS and Indirect Taxes

· Knowledge of GST & Companies Act 2013.

· Strong interpersonal skills and strong leadership qualities to lead the team.

· Strong work ethic, self-motivated and goal-oriented

Education:

· B.Com/M.Com/ CA Final

· Bank Audit experience a plus.
