Job Purpose
To manage L&D governance and strategic partnerships that ensure high-quality, compliant, and impactful learning across GSK. This role supports the L&D CoE by overseeing the documentation and deployment of learning standards, managing vendor relationships, and alignment with skills and compliance requirements. It plays a key role in enabling scalable, consistent, and modern learning proposition.
Responsibilities
- Governance: Define and maintain governance standards across Learning and Skills proposition (e.g. Degreed, Workday Learning).
- Partnership Management: Manage strategic vendor relationships, including onboarding, performance, and contract renewals.
- Operational: Lead content rationalisation and curation aligned to GSK's skills taxonomy and compliance needs. Partner with GCC Learning Operations to oversee content lifecycle management, including tagging, version control, and retirement of learning content. Partner with GCC to monitor content usage, quality, and learner feedback to inform continuous improvement and manage portfolio of content and strategic partners.
- Governance Forums: Manage the scheduling and facilitation of governance councils and decision-making forums, (e.g. ES&CB, GSK Learning Council) and organise invites, agendas, minutes, actions tracking and coordination.
- Enable content partnerships that support global, inclusive, and scalable learning.
- Risk and Governance Forums: Lead on AI and Data Privacy engagement across all people processes, platforms, technologies partnering with GCC to oversee all partner, platform risk management activities, engaging with Privacy, Tech, AI Governance Forums.
- HR ER Engagement: Lead on Works Councils, HRCH, AI governance forums engagement where required to support Learning and Skills initiatives.
- Operational: Oversee and embed L&D delivery model working with GXO, CoE, Ops, BU teams, to ensure clarity in processes, access to relevant systems and tools.
- Quality Monitoring: Conduct compliance reviews to health check governance forums, playbooks, learning standards adherence.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in Learning & Development, Governance, or Vendor Management roles within global and matrixed organizations with total 16+ years of experience
- Governance Expertise: Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage governance standards and processes across learning systems and platforms.
- Vendor Management: Experience managing vendor relationships, including onboarding, performance tracking, and contract renewals.
- Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of data privacy, AI governance, and compliance requirements in learning and people processes.
- Operational Excellence: Experience managing content lifecycle processes, including tagging, version control, and quality monitoring.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to collaborate effectively with HR, Works Councils, governance forums, and cross-functional teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage governance forums, prepare agendas, minutes, and actions tracking.
