Role & responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned territories and industries.
  • Generate leads, conduct market visits, and build strong customer relationships.
  • Understand customer requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals while achieving monthly and annual targets.

2. Customer Management

  • Maintain strong follow-up with customers for inquiries, quotations, and orders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for order execution, installation, and after-sales support.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely communication and problem-solving.

3. Technical & Commercial Support

  • Evaluate project requirements and prepare technical and commercial offers.
  • Liaise with principals / OEMs for pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines.
  • Support the team during product trials, demos, and exhibitions.

4. Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Gather competitor information, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and key market developments.
  • Contribute ideas for marketing campaigns and product promotions.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong technical understanding of industrial machines (e.g., welding, cutting, automation, CNC, drilling).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into practical engineering solutions.
  • Self-driven with a result-oriented and customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and report preparation.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions.
