Position Title: PMO Wind Power Projects

Department: Project Management Office / Renewable Energy

Location: Kallam Maharashtra

Experience Level: 4+ Years (Wind Energy, Renewable Projects, or EPC Environment)

Reporting To: Project Director / Head Project Management Office

Role Overview:

We are seeking a results-oriented PMO professional with proven experience in planning, scheduling, and execution of wind energy projects. The candidate will support end-to-end project lifecycle management for wind power projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timely execution, and compliance with safety, quality, and financial standards.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on field experience in WTG installation, machine and plant maintenance, and coordination with OEMs and contractors. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, risk management, and project reporting capabilities to support project delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including scope, timeline, budget, and resources.
• Prepare detailed project schedules covering all phasesengineering, procurement, construction, commissioning.
• Utilize software tools (MS Project/Primavera) for baseline scheduling and tracking.

2. Execution & Coordination

• Drive coordination across engineering, supply chain, OEMs, and contractors for timely project delivery.
• Oversee WTG installations including lattice assembly, crane mobilization, and commissioning.
• Ensure seamless integration of cross-functional teams including safety, QA/QC, and operations.

3. Stakeholder Management

• Interface with internal teams (Safety, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance) and external stakeholders (OEMs, vendors, EPC contractors).
• Conduct regular review meetings, record and circulate Minutes of Meeting (MoMs), and track action items
• Provide regular project updates to leadership and stakeholders.

4. Risk & Compliance Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Ensure strict compliance with contractual obligations, HSE guidelines, and regulatory standards.

5. Safety & Quality Oversight

• Monitor site safety and implement preventive measures to reduce incidents and ensure safe working conditions.
• Ensure quality of construction and installations as per contract specifications and OEM standards.

6. Cost & Resource Management

• Manage project budgets, track cost-to-complete (CTC), and optimize use of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate crane and heavy equipment deployment (750T/800T, 250T, 160T, 110T cranes).

7. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Track project KPIs including progress vs. plan, budget adherence, resource utilization, and risk metrics.
• Develop and circulate project MIS reports to internal teams and escalate to leadership when needed.

8. Project Closure & Handover

• Ensure punch points are resolved and closure documentation is complete.
• Lead smooth handover of completed projects to the O&M team along with as-built documents and commissioning records.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Wind Power Projects (Planning, Scheduling, Execution).
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and project planning tools like MS Project/Primavera.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment, WTG installation processes, and renewable energy project execution.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams with effective planning and execution.
• Knowledge of HSE standards and commitment to safety best practices.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working with leading wind OEMs like Suzlon, Siemens Gamesa, Vestas, etc.
• Exposure to refinery planning or other large industrial infrastructure projects is a plus.
• Background in handling cross-functional teams and contractors in a fast-paced project environment.
