Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Tally Developer, located in Chennai (On-site preferred; hybrid flexibility can be discussed for the right candidate). We're looking for a talented
Tally Developer
with hands-on experience in
TDL (Tally Definition Language)
to join our growing tech team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement
    custom TDL programs
    to extend Tally's functionality.
  • Customize existing Tally modules based on business requirements.
  • Integrate Tally with other applications and APIs where required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Tally and TDL scripts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand functional requirements and deliver efficient solutions.
  • Maintain proper documentation of developed features, modifications, and integrations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–2 years
    of hands-on experience with
    Tally Definition Language (TDL)
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    Tally ERP / Tally Prime
    architecture and customization techniques.
  • Ability to create, modify, and optimize TDL code for performance and scalability.
  • Good knowledge of Tally's
    data structure, reports, vouchers
    , and
    masters
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Tally integration
    using ODBC / XML / APIs.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to
    Tally Integration
    with external systems.
  • Experience working alongside backend teams (e.g., , Python) is a plus.
  • Prior work on accounting or ERP-related automation projects.
