Skills:

• Strong knowledge of refraction and visual assessment techniques.
• Good communication and patient-handling skills.
• Basic understanding of ophthalmic instruments and eye care procedures

Salary: 15,000 to 20,000 Per Month

Role & Responsibilities:

• Conduct accurate refractive power assessments and prescribe corrective lenses as required.
• Perform preliminary screening for common eye conditions, including cataract, stye, entropion, conjunctivitis, and other ocular issues.
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of findings and prescriptions.
• Assist in early detection and management of visual impairments through community vision screening and awareness activities.
• Coordinate with ophthalmologists for timely referrals, specialist consultations, and follow-up care.
• Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and maintenance of all ophthalmic instruments and diagnostic equipment.
• Educate patients on eye care, proper lens use, and preventive measures for maintaining good vision health.
