The Team:
The Product Management team sits within the S&P Global Horizons business driving innovation at the intersection of technology, sustainability and energy markets. We focus on delivering comprehensive market intelligence and analytics, meeting customers where they are across our core web and feed platforms. Responsibilities and Impact:
The successful candidate will own the development and execution of our product strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of B2B information services covering enterprise technology with a particular focus on the impact of Artificial Intelligence on Energy markets.
Responsibilities include:
Manage the product development process for the Enterprise Technology Research group with a special focus on enabling research delivery
Execute and contribute to product strategy and roadmap development for research and platform features, focusing on content delivery, analytics tools, and user experience enhancements
Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product positioning in the technology and energy sectors
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, research, marketing, and sales teams to deliver products that meet customer needs and business objectives
Define and track key product metrics, analyzing user feedback and market data to drive continuous product improvement and optimization
Engage directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements, validate concepts, and ensure product-market fit
Manage product lifecycle from conception to launch for platform modules, ensuring successful integration with existing infrastructure
What We're Looking For:Basic Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field
5-7 years of product management experience with demonstrated success in B2B platform or data product development
Experience with Agile methodologies and development frameworks such as Scrum, or SAFe
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work with complex datasets and market intelligence workflows
Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder management across research, technology, and commercial teams
Understanding of API integrations, data feeds, and platform architecture concepts
Ability to understand client workflows, translate business requirements into technical requirements and develop clear messaging to communicate value to stakeholders
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in technology, consulting, or financial data industry
Experience working with research analysts, data platforms, analytics tools, or market intelligence solutions
Knowledge of UX design principles and user-centered design approaches for product development
Familiarity with subscription-based platform business models and client success metrics
Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management platforms
Familiarity with SQL, Python, and Excel for data analysis and data visualization tools
