Your key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium or similar tools.
  • Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter to ensure system reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools like JIRA or similar.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure product quality.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and provide actionable feedback to the development team.
  • Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
  • Ensure adherence to QA best practices, including test processes, documentation, and reporting.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in software testing and recommend improvements to the QA process.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.

Your skills and experience

  • Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
  • Experience with JMeter or similar tools for performance testing.
  • Strong understanding of software testing disciplines, including:
    • Test Automation
    • Performance Testing
    • Test Processes
    • Testing Products
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing test scripts.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
  • Knowledge of database testing and ability to write basic SQL queries.
  • Exposure to security testing tools and practices.
