We are currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Engineering Department. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems specifically for elevators, ensuring their safety, reliability, and optimal performance.

Position: Mechanical Design Engineer Elevators

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

2 to 4 years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities:

Design elevator mechanical components using AutoCAD 2D.

Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) for all mechanical parts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration of mechanical systems.

Create detailed technical documentation for elevator mechanical components.

Offer technical support throughout component manufacturing processes.

Assist installation and testing teams by providing technical guidance.

Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and design finalization.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other mechanical design software.

Solid understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing techniques.

Experience or knowledge in elevator design is highly desirable.

Expertise in material selection and sheet metal manufacturing processes.

Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Competent in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
