Position: Mechanical Draughtsman

Role Overview:
The Mechanical Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing detailed 2D and 3D drawings, converting engineering sketches into accurate models, and ensuring proper detailing for manufacturing. The role requires strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert 2D drawings into 3D models as per specifications.
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D engineering drawings for components and assemblies.
- Create digital drawings/models from engineers hand sketches, concepts, or notes.
- Assist in part design and detailing for manufacturing and assembly.
- Ensure accuracy, proper dimensioning, and adherence to drafting standards.
- Maintain documentation and drawing records as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers and designers for revisions and approvals.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD / Solid Edge).
- Strong understanding of mechanical components, fits, and tolerances.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good drafting, detailing, and visualization skills.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes is an advantage.
Education:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
