Role Overview

The
After Effects Artist
will be responsible for creating engaging motion graphics, compositing, and visual effects that align with the creative direction of projects. This role requires a strong sense of design, timing, and attention to detail, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, visualisers, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and animate motion graphics using Adobe After Effects for commercials, social media content, explainer videos, and immersive anamorphic visuals.
  • Work with design and visualization teams to integrate motion graphics seamlessly with static artwork, 3D renders, and live-action footage.
  • Execute visual effects (VFX), including compositing, tracking, keying, rotoscoping, and clean-ups.
  • Interpret storyboards, scripts, or creative briefs to deliver visually compelling animations.
  • Optimize projects for different platforms (broadcast, digital, outdoor anamorphic displays, etc.).
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Stay updated on design and animation trends, new techniques, and After Effects plugins/scripts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an After Effects Artist / Motion Graphics Designer.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animation, and VFX work.
  • Expertise in
    Adobe After Effects
    , Photoshop, Illustrator; knowledge of Premiere Pro preferred.
  • Familiarity with Cinema 4D/Blender (basic knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of timing, visual storytelling, and design aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a creative team.
  • Attention to detail, adaptability, and creative problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with 3D motion graphics pipelines.
  • Knowledge of advanced plugins (Trapcode Suite, Element 3D, Duik, etc.).
  • Understanding of anamorphic display requirements and large-format design.
