Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of factory costs, identifying and reviewing end to end make and non-make cost drivers, including labor rates, machine utilization, consumable expenses, overhead, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of product cost engineering initiatives with overall manufacturing processes and organizational goals.
  • Identify and execute cost‑reduction opportunities through material, design, and process optimization.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive financial models that effectively capture product costs and pricing strategies.
  • Utilize analytical skills to assess and optimize cost efficiency within the manufacturing environment and supply chain operations.
  • Prepare and present cost analysis reports to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for cost management and reduction strategies.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • B. Tech. (Engineering) or Supply Chain experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in cost engineering, procurement and financial analysis role is preferred.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing, data centers, or automotive industries, supply chain consultancy is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling, with a demonstrated ability to create and manage cost models effectively.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to conduct in-depth analysis of factory costs and various cost components.
  • An educational background in finance or accounting; advanced degrees in finance or supply chain management are preferred but not mandatory.
