Job Description

  • We are looking for a Reference Data Specialist with strong SQL and Power BI skills to manage, validate, and
  • enhance reference data within our systems. The ideal candidate will be able to write code/scripts to identify
  • data issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes. Experience in the BFSI or Investment Banking
  • domain is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and validate reference data across internal systems.
  • Write SQL queries and scripts to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data errors.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on recurring data issues and recommend long-term solutions.
  • Support ongoing data quality improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Strong SQL expertise (querying, scripting, optimization).
  • Good hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, dashboards, DAX).
  • Ability to write code/scripts for data validation and correction.
  • Solid understanding of reference data concepts.
  • Experience in BFSI/Investment Banking domain (preferably reference data, trade support, or
  • operations).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
  • Exposure to data governance or data quality tools.
