Roles & Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain effective linkages with relevant government authorities at state and central levels.
• Facilitate strategic stakeholder engagement initiatives at the district level to support operational objectives.
• Strengthen organizational intelligence networks to proactively identify and counteract potential risks or opposition.
• Develop and implement early warning systems to minimize operational disruptions.
• Oversee legal strategy and ensure regulatory compliance and on time statutory approvals.
• Facilitate high-level interventions to expedite critical approvals aligned with operational restart plans.
• Build and nurture relationships with key regional influencers to advocate for plant restart.
• Drive strategic communication efforts to ensure positive representation among decision-makers.
• Support the creation and execution of rebranding and communication strategies to enhance public perception and facilitate operational continuity.
• The individual to front end Vedanta's interest and facilitate its long-term vision of being the most sustainable natural resources company.

Experience & Qualification:

Vedanta is looking to augment their presence in the state. In that regard, we are looking to bring on board a senior strategic leader, who will anchor the accelerated growth of group companies like Sterlite Copper in the state of Tamil Nadu.
