About the Role

In this role, you will primarily be developing these applications & interfaces according to the latest and most innovative standards, to support Harman in winning new business with our OEM customers. There will also be embedded software development tasks, especially related to AI/ML algorithm experiments, implementation, and other embedded integration activities.

What You Will Do

• Be up to date on latest Android features/concepts, automotive industry trends
• Design and Develop the Android application as an individual/team contributor for our EPIC projects.
• Integrate features/libraries from other concepts/demos.
• Integrating the application into the systems.
• Develop new innovative ideas and solutions for future branded audio systems.
• Contribute to Embedded software development.
• AL/ML algorithm investigation, deployment and verification for POC's.
• Perform Low-level / hardware-level programming and integration.
• Support system, functionality, integration, regression testing, End-to-end Testing.
• Work collaboratively with both the local and the global EPIC team..
• Handover the work done as part of the concept/demo to the global engineering team including documentation.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Proficiency in Android application design and development using Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose
• Strong skills in Android UI development
• Experience with MVVM architecture
• Ability to develop responsive applications scalable across different display resolutions
• Experience in embedded software development
• Comfortable working with C/C++ and JavaScript
• Passion for software development

Bonus Points if You Have

• Holds a bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
