Company Description

Goldstone Cements Limited, incorporated in December 2007 and based in Meghalaya, is establishing a cement plant in Jaintia Hills. The company is setting up a clinkerisation unit with a production capacity of 1,200 TPD and a 2,040 TPD cement grinding unit to manufacture Pozzolana Portland Cement (PPC) and Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC). Our plant utilizes the latest technology and equipment from industry leaders like ThyssenKrupp and Larsen & Toubro. GCL has secured a 35.11-hectare limestone mining land and obtained all necessary statutory clearances from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF).

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant, located in Guwahati. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and conducting audits. Daily tasks include processing invoices, managing budgets, and performing reconciliations. The role also involves ensuring compliance with financial regulations and preparing reports for management review.

Qualifications

  • Experience in financial record-keeping, budget management, and processing invoices
  • Ability to prepare financial statements and conduct audits
  • Strong skills in reconciliations and compliance with financial regulations
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus
  • Experience in the manufacturing or cement industry is an advantage
