Job Description

Position: Associate QA Specialist

Experience: 7 to 9 Years

Location : Pune-Hybrid

Person should be able to Manual and Automation testing, should have Selenium exp. Robot framework experience & Python programming knowledge- at least he/she is able to read the Python Code & write Test scripts for Automation

Must Have:

  • 7+ years of Manual testing and QA automation experience using various test automation frameworks and worked on Automation projects
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated test scripts using python and selenium.
  • Experience in testing both UI and web services (APIs)
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated testing seamlessly into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in functional testing, knowledge of QA practices including Agile methodology
  • Person should be able to work independently and also able to guide people technically
  • Selenium with Python or Java experience
  • Git, SQL experience
  • Generating test data required to execute test cases.

Test Planning and Execution:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Develop test cases and execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify and report defects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Propose and implement improvements to the existing automated testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Good to have:

  • Candidates having security and load testing knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience in integrating test suites in CICD pipeline.

Person should be flexible to work between 7 PM to 11 PM IST  and in second shift as customer calls happen during this time period.Once in every 3 months person will need to stay back and attend Planning increment meeting which go beyond 12  midnight for 5 days.
