Job Description – Python Backend Developer (5 Years Experience)

Position: Senior Python Backend Developer

Experience: 5 Years

Location: Chennai

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Developer with 5 years of experience to build, optimize, and maintain cloud-based backend services. The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise in Python, Azure Cloud, MySQL, and one backend framework (Flask / Django / FastAPI).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-performance backend services, APIs, and microservices using Python.
  • Work on end-to-end design, development, deployment, and monitoring of cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
  • Design and optimize relational databases using MySQL, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Build secure and scalable REST APIs using Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
  • Create CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployments.
  • Integrate with Azure services: Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL/MySQL, Azure Storage, and Key Vault.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality releases on schedule.
  • Follow best practices in coding, security, documentation, and code reviews.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5 years of strong experience in Python backend development.
  • Proficiency in one framework: Flask / Django / FastAPI.
  • Solid hands-on experience with:
  • Azure Cloud (App Service, Functions, DevOps pipelines, Storage, etc.)
  • MySQL (complex queries, indexing, schema design, query tuning)
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API architecture and microservices.
  • Experience with Git and agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secure coding standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹958, ₹1,480,725.22 per year
