Position Details

Job Title : QA Lead – P& C Duck Creek

Experience: 8–12 years   ( P2 Grade) 

Location: Hyderabad / Bhubaneswar / Bangalore

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Lead QA initiatives for Policy Administration Systems ( Duck Creek / Guidewire) in the property & Casualty Insurance domain , with hands-on experience across the policy life cycle, including rating, rules, and forms testing.
2. Define, implement, and govern Quality Engineering standards, managing quality gates from unit testing through to production deployment.
3. Drive Shift-Left testing practices and establish robust test environment and test data management strategies.
4. Design and implement proven QA strategies for Agile delivery, covering:
   • In-sprint testing
   • Functional testing
   • System Integration Testing (SIT)
   • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
   • End-to-End (E2E) and downstream systems testing
5. Collaborate with development teams, product owners, Actuarial teams, and business stakeholders to promote a quality-first mindset.
6. Leverage test automation to improve efficiency, speed, and consistency in delivery.
7. Collect, analyse, and present quality metrics to senior leadership, enabling informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
8. Provide hands-on leadership in test planning, execution, defect triage, and risk-based testing.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ hands of experience in QA( Duck creek OR Guidewire)
• Lead QA initiatives for Policy Administration Systems ( Duck Creek / Guidewire) in the property & Casualty Insurance domain , with hands-on experience across the policy life cycle, including rating, rules, and forms testing.
• Experience working in Agile development environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Familiarity with test planning, execution, reporting, and defect lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• End-to-End (E2E) and downstream systems testing
