Solution Engineering Infra

As an Azure Infra / Migrate & Modernize Solution Engineer (SE), you will play a pivotal role in helping enterprises unlock the full potential of Microsoft's Azure Infra, Networking & Security solutions along with Migration to Azure, VMs & Database Migrations, VMs to AKS & other Paas Services. You'll collaborate closely with engineering leaders and platform teams to accelerate the Azure Infra, AKS, Network, Storage portfolio, other solutions like Database Migrations, Migration methodologies, 3rd party ISV solutions, through hands-on engagements like Proof of Concepts, hackathons, and architecture workshops. You'll guide customers through secure, scalable solution design, influence technical decisions, and accelerate database and analytics migration into their deployment workflows. • Drive technical conversations with decision makers using demos and PoCs to influence solution design and enable production deployments.
• Conduct design reviews, architecture discussions, solve for various customer deployment designs around network, connectivity, security, selection of right Azure resources & services, validate customers design, help in troubleshooting etc.
• Lead hands-on engagements—hackathons and architecture workshops—to accelerate adoption of Microsoft's cloud platforms.
• Build trusted relationships with platform leads, co-designing secure, scalable architectures and solutions
• Resolve technical blockers and objections, collaborating with engineers to share insights and improve products.
• Maintain deep expertise in Overall Azure portfolio with emphasis on Azure Infra, Security, AKS, Containers, storage, Monitoring tools, Networking technologies & options, connectivity, Migration methodologies, basics of Database & Database Migrations, Virtual Desktops, assessments, availability of tools & accelerators
• Maintain and grow expertise in competing solutions, other clouds, on premise technologies to support competition wins & discussions.
• Represent Microsoft through thought leadership in cloud Hyperscale, cloud Infra, Migration & Modernization, containers & OSS communities and customer forums
