Role Overview:

We are seeking a Shopify Developer with strong experience in custom app development, API integrations, and front-end customization. The ideal candidate will help integrate delivery intelligence platform into Shopify stores, enabling features like real-time estimated delivery, intelligent checkout, and post-purchase visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Shopify apps and custom storefront features to integrate FenixCommerce's APIs (EDD, carrier optimization, order tracking). - Build custom widgets and checkout extensions showing accurate delivery dates and shipping options. Collaborate with the FenixCommerce product, backend, and client implementation teams to ensure seamless integration with retailers' existing Shopify setups. - Work on Shopify Admin APIs, Storefront APIs, GraphQL, and webhooks to automate order and fulfillment workflows. - Develop Liquid templates, JavaScript components, and RESTful endpoints for dynamic user experiences. - Optimize site performance, page load, and checkout flows. - Debug and troubleshoot integration issues related to inventory, order routing, and shipment tracking. - Stay updated with Shopify Plus, Hydrogen/Remix, and Shopify App Bridge developments.

Required Skills & Experience:

3–6 years of hands-on Shopify development experience. - Strong knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), and React. - Proven experience developing custom Shopify apps (private/public) using or similar backends. - Experience with Shopify APIs (REST/GraphQL), Webhooks, and Carrier/Shipping API integrations. - Familiarity with 3PLs, shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.), and order tracking systems. - Strong understanding of e-commerce workflows: cart, checkout, fulfillment, returns, and post-purchase experience. - Experience working with AWS, Git, CI/CD pipelines is a plus. - Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and client engineering teams.

Good to Have:

Experience integrating logistics or delivery-based APIs (e.g., Shippo, EasyPost, FenixCommerce, AfterShip). - Familiarity with headless Shopify development (Hydrogen/Remix or ). - Understanding of multi-warehouse routing and real-time inventory systems. - Exposure to AI-driven personalization or predictive analytics in e-commerce.
