About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled SharePoint Support Engineer with hands-on experience in SharePoint 2013 and 2016 environments. The ideal candidate should be proactive, self-motivated, and passionate about solving technical challenges in enterprise SharePoint systems.

Youll be responsible for end-to-end SharePoint administration, troubleshooting, and user support ensuring high system availability, smooth performance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle user issues, incidents, and requests related to SharePoint 2013/2016.
  • Provide functional and technical support to end-users.
  • Perform daily health checks and monitor the SharePoint environment.
  • Manage user access, permissions, and site collections.
  • Analyze and resolve client-reported issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain logs and document issue-resolution processes.
  • Regularly review SharePoint event logs, perform site clean-ups, and manage personal sites.
  • Participate in Resiliency and Disaster Recovery events to ensure business continuity.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint 2013 / 2016 administration and support.
  • Good knowledge of SharePoint Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) features and Workflows.
  • Expertise in PowerShell scripting, JavaScript, and jQuery for site customization.
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer for page/web part design and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to manage Access Permissions and perform security reviews.
  • Good understanding of troubleshooting SharePoint performance and functional issues.

Nice to Have (Secondary Skills):

  • Working knowledge of Autosys job scheduling.
  • Familiarity with DocAve Migration Tool.
  • Understanding of complex application workflows.

  • Good problem-solving ability and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts (including night shifts) for 24x7 coverage.
