Job Title: Python Automation Testing (Automotive/Telematics/Infotainment - Modem Testing) Location: Bangalore Experience: 2 to 4 Years Salary: Up to 8 LPA About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Python Developer with experience in Infotainment, Automotive, or Telematics systems to join our team. This role focuses on Modem Testing and involves working with cellular protocols such as GSM, UMTS, LTE, or 5G. You will also have the opportunity to work with network simulators such as Anritsu, R&S, or Keysight to ensure robust modem performance. If you have a passion for automotive technology and testing, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in the industry. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Python-based test scripts for modem testing in automotive/infotainment or telematics systems.
  • Perform testing on modems for cellular networks, including GSM, UMTS, LTE, and 5G protocols.
  • Utilize network simulators (Anritsu, R&S, Keysight) for testing and validation of cellular modem functionalities.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve problems.
  • Collaborate with system engineers to improve test coverage and automation processes.
  • Ensure the highest quality standards for testing, including regression, performance, and load testing of modem modules.
  • Document test plans, procedures, and results for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in cellular protocols and modem technology.
Requirements:
  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Python programming, preferably in an automotive, infotainment, or telematics environment.
  • Strong understanding of cellular network protocols: GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G.
  • Experience with modem testing and using network simulators such as Anritsu, R&S, or Keysight.
  • Proficiency in developing and executing automated test scripts using Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
  • Knowledge of network testing, performance optimization, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in a cross-functional team.
