Responsibilities :

  • Design and architect scalable and high-performance cloud-native storage solutions.
  • Define technical roadmaps and drive architectural decisions.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools.

  • Lead the development of GoLang applications for storage solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.
  • Develop and enforce coding standards and best practices.
  • Architect and implement Ceph storage solutions within Kubernetes environments.
  • Lead the development and optimization of Rook operators.
  • Ensure seamless integration of Ceph with Kubernetes and other cloud-native technologies.
  • Design and implement Kubernetes-based storage solutions.
  • Optimize container orchestration strategies for performance and scalability.
  • Utilize Helm and other Kubernetes tools effectively.
  • Design and implement distributed storage systems using Ceph, Rook, and other cloud-native technologies (e.g., OpenEBS).
  • Develop solutions for file, block, and object storage.
  • Ensure data integrity, availability, and performance.
  • Establish and maintain Git workflows for collaborative development.
  • Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to version control best practices.
  • Lead the resolution of complex system issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement proactive monitoring and troubleshooting strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate architectural decisions and technical concepts to stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and technical specifications.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the :
  • 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on distributed systems and storage.
  • Extensive experience with Ceph and distributed storage systems.
  • Proficiency in GoLang (preferred) or other relevant programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with Ceph storage and Rook operator development in Kubernetes environments.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.
  • Knowledge of file, block, and object storage.
  • Experience with Git and Git workflows.
  • Strong architectural and design skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
