Role Description

This is an internship role for a Site Reliability Engineer - Intern. The intern will be responsible for supporting customers with the reliability and performance of software systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the stability of infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks will include assisting with software development, maintaining system administration tasks, and working on infrastructure improvement projects under the guidance of experienced engineers. The candidate will collaborate with the engineering team to improve and automate processes to enhance system efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in Computer Science or a related program with approval to take an internship
  • Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering principles and strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving system issues.
  • Experience with AWS, MongoDB, including familiarity with infrastructure coding, debugging, and maintaining software applications.
  • Understanding of System Administration and Infrastructure, including server management and deployment practices.
  • DevOps and automated deployment knowledge will be an asset.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of monitoring tools, cloud services, and containerization platforms is a plus.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
