Role Summary

We are seeking a
highly skilled and customer-focused Presales Engineer
with deep expertise in
Microsoft Security products
to join our growing pre-sales team. In this role, you will partner with sales teams to understand customer needs, design tailored security solutions, and present the technical value of our offerings through demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts. You will act as a trusted advisor, bridging business challenges with the right security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Expertise

• Provide in-depth knowledge on Microsoft security products such as
  Microsoft Defender, Azure Sentinel, Microsoft 365 Security, Azure Security Centre
  .
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of the latest Microsoft security features, enhancements, and integrations.
• Advise customers on cybersecurity principles, best practices, and risk mitigation strategies.

2. Customer Engagement

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify customer requirements.
• Conduct
  technical presentations, demos, workshops, and webinars
  to articulate the value proposition.
• Build trust-based relationships with customers and partners, positioning yourself as a go-to technical consultant.

3. Solution Design & Proposal Development

• Create
  customized solution designs
  that address business needs while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare proposals,
  architecture diagrams, security assessments, and integration plans
  .
• Align solutions with Microsoft's best practices and security frameworks.

4. Proof of Concept (PoC) Execution

• Lead and manage PoCs to validate solution capabilities in the customer's environment.
• Provide hands-on technical support during PoCs to ensure successful outcomes.

5. Technical Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Develop solution documentation, configuration guides, and implementation playbooks.
• Create
  case studies and whitepapers
  to showcase successful deployments and industry use cases.

6. Collaboration & Feedback Loop

• Work with internal teams including
  delivery, marketing, and product management
  to ensure consistent customer experiences.
• Share market intelligence and competitive insights with product management to enhance offerings.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Experience:

• 5–7 years in IT/security roles, with
  up to 3 years in pre-sales or technical consulting for Microsoft Security products
  .
• Hands-on implementation or consulting experience with Microsoft Defender suite, Sentinel, Entra ID, Purview, MDCA, Intune, and related technologies.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of
  cybersecurity principles, threats, and vulnerabilities
  .
• Proficiency in designing and documenting solutions, including architecture diagrams.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
• Other relevant Microsoft security certifications.
