Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage databases: install, monitor, tune, backup/recovery, and lifecycle operations (PlanBuildPatchRun)
  • Design and deploy DR, replication, and high availability solutions
  • Lead resolution of high-severity issues impacting revenue applications
  • Drive automation and centralized 24x7 monitoring for performance and compliance
  • Fulfill user requests: access, refresh, migration, performance tuning
  • Guide operational support teams and participate in 24x7 shift model
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (SOX, PCI, GDPR, Export) and risk oversight
  • Create and maintain documentation for architecture, access, migration, and security
  • Collaborate across IT, business, and vendor teams for process improvement

Required Skills

  • Hands-on expertise in MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL; knowledge of Oracle, DB2, Sybase, MaxDB is a plus
  • Strong experience with Azure, AWS, Linux/Windows troubleshooting
  • Proficient in scripting: PowerShell, Unix Shell
  • Experience in SDLC, cloud migration, and infrastructure strategy
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management
  • Self-driven, collaborative, and resilient in high-pressure environments.
