Senior Public Relations Consultant at El Sol Strategic Consultants (ESSC)

Understand ESSC and its Values, Vision and Goals
Understand the importance of your role in the growth of the company
Liaise daily with clients and the media, often via telephone and email.
Build strong relationships and networks with colleagues, clients and the media + marketing.
Monitor the media, new age media and newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media, podcasts sites and blogs, for opportunities for clients.
Prepare regular client reports and attend client meetings.
Research, write and disseminate press releases to targeted media.
Promote news stories and features to the media, known as 'selling in'
Collate, analyse and evaluate media coverage.
Manage events, including press conferences and promotional events.
Attend and promote client events to the media and other public relations platforms.
Assist with the production of client publications, such as in-house magazines.
Commission market research.
Coordinate studio or location photography.
Undertake research for new business proposals and present them to potential new clients.
Manage the PR aspect of a possible crisis.
Keep motivating the team and keeping spirits high to encourage a friendly & open environment.
Planning publicity strategies and campaigns. Writing and producing presentations and press releases
Strategize and enable the execution of all plans and create quarterly roadmaps
Ask clients for marketing calendars
Develop and foster relationships with brands and 3rd parties on behalf of El Sol Strategic Consultants
Follow ESSC's policies and good practices
Maintain a network of resources that can be deployed when the need arises
Ensure 100% client retention
Stay relevant and up to date with new practices for Web 2.0 and 3.0
Maintain relationships and databases with key stakeholders
Documentation of all campaigns
Preparing Briefs and Scripts for campaigns
Documenting testimonials
Planning publicity strategies and campaigns.
Writing and producing presentations, scripts, campaign taglines, answers to interviews and press releases.
Dealing with enquiries from the public, the press, and related organizations.
Organizing promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and visits.
Speaking publicly at interviews, press conferences and presentations.
Providing clients with information about new promotional opportunities and current PR campaigns progress.
Analysing media coverage.
Commissioning or undertaking relevant market research.
Designing, writing and/or producing presentations, press releases, articles, leaflets, 'in-house' journals, reports, publicity brochures, information for websites and promotional videos or project managing them if the client has budgets allocated for it.
Crisis management & troubleshooting.
Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media.
Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media.
Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on- going basis.
Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awarenessMaintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.
Manage the client's expectations.
Documentation. Tracking newspapers, magazines and websites. Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies and creative campaigns.
Identify and build relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders.
Liaising with the marketing team to create and coordinate marketing strategies that work across different channels.
Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies and influencers.
Trend forecasting for clients and their respective industries
Create quarterly and annual brand marketing strategies and roadmaps in line with client's business goals
