We're Hiring: Backend Engineering Lead

Location: Kochi / Bangalore (initially Kochi)

Experience: 8+ Years

Work Mode: Full-time, Office-based

We're looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineering Lead with deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to architect, build, and scale enterprise-grade backend systems. This is a leadership role where you'll drive technical excellence while mentoring a strong engineering team.

What You'll Do:

Lead the development of scalable backend systems using Spring Boot & Microservices

Design & implement RESTful APIs with robust security, authentication & versioning

Build & deploy containerized services with Docker & Kubernetes

Partner with DevOps & Cloud teams (AWS/Azure/GCP) for CI/CD, monitoring & reliability

Optimize backend performance, latency & scalability

Mentor and guide backend engineers, ensuring code quality & design standards

What We're Looking For:

8+ years in backend development

Expert in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices

Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes

Strong with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)

Familiar with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

Knowledge of asynchronous messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus

Experience with orchestration/workflow tools (TIBCO BW, Camunda) preferred

Nice to Have:

Exposure to API gateways & OpenAPI/Swagger

Experience with caching strategies (Redis, Hazelcast)

Knowledge of observability tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
